Double Glazed Windows

A casement window is a type of window that is attached to its frame by more than one hinge. Casement windows have hinges on the side of the window and the frame. A casement window that is hinged at the top is best known as an awning window and a casement window that is hinged at the bottom is better known as a hopper. Casement windows are used singly or in pairs and they are always within a common upvc window frame.

Tilt and Turn Windows

This window functions in two ways. The tilt function opens the top of the sash inwards for ventilation, whilst the turn function creates an inward opening side hung operation. Tilt & turn windows can be cleaned from the inside and can also be used as emergency exits. Further, with a tilt and turn window you can tilt the sash 10 cm inwards allowing fresh air to ventilate the room.
